Star Wars room progress?

Ok, so there hasn't been any. Not in 11 days.
There's a reason for that. Heather and I are so burnt out on working in there that I just don't want to do it right now, BUT...I have gotten to show it to several friends, plus some family. Everyone who has seen it is just blown away, which is really cool.

I still don't feel like it's done. There are SO many boxes left to go, but right now there's a real dilema about what to do with them. The closet in there is filled floor to ceiling with stuff and until last night, the guest room was filled up with all it's available floor space, up to about waist high.

This isn't all Star Wars stuff, it's Simpsons, Halo, South Park, Clerks, Muppets...all that other crap I collect, but yes, lots of Star Wars too. I'm not sure if I should sell the stuff I won't be displaying, or just rotate it in every few months.

Rotating brings a couple of problems:

1. Where to store the stuff that isn't being displayed and
2: It takes a lot of time to set that room up.
3. Where the heck to the things that AREN'T Star Wars go?

The benefits are, I will be able to keep a bigger collection and I can take pictures so that the entire thing is eventually captured and able to be displayed (if only online).

So that's what's on my mind right now regarding the Star Wars room. In other Star Wars news, I read an article on Rebelscum yesterday that said the George Lucas stormtrooper offer was expiring and I was bummed because I have no idea where my new VTSC figures are. I bought enough to mail away for one Lucas (two if I want) but I don't know what box they're in right now. Luckily for me, they extended that deadline, so now I have until March to find them.

Speaking of Rebelscum, I decided to finally put the Star Wars Blog in my signature, since my year is almost up. Wonder if anyone will stop by.

I stopped by! Great read Josh. Sorry I couldn't help with the set-up. Can't wait to see the room. If you decide to sell some of the extra SW stuff, keep me in mind!

Thanks very much Mr. Anonymous.

:-)

The set up is never finished (hundreds and hundreds of things to go) so if you'd like to help, just let me know.
